Fall 2007 TV Season-Inspired Friending Meme

wendy has a great friending meme right now, but with the new Fall 2007 tv season about to start in the US, it's probably a good time for a general-interest tv-inspired friending meme, too.

Last night, I was thinking about how a year or so ago, some people on my flist were looking forward to the first season of Studio 60 and others were squeeing about the Heroes pilot, and some were wondering what would happen on House, or SPN, or any one of a dozen other shows - and now a new fall season is just around the corner and dvds of last season are hitting stores with regularity, so please participate and pimp, regardless of where you live, or even if you own a tv set! If you're interested in any currently-airing shows, this meme is for you!

This season, I'm looking forward to these new shows: I'm excited for other people to see Torchwood. Otherwise, nothing yet.

This season, I'm planning on continuing to watch: Heroes, Doctor Who, Bones, Lost, Iron Chef, Torchwood and maybe Psych and Numbers.

My favorite episode(s) from last season on those shows is/are: Oh, jeez. Heroes is tough because I really did like most of them. Doctor Who is probably Blink, but any of the last half of the season were awesome. Bones was the one where they were buried alive in the car (no idea of the title). Lost would also be most of the second half of the season. Iron Chef would be any that that bitch Kareem Bakum isn't in. Torchwood would be the one where Cap'n Jack met the nice gay soldier, probably. Psych was Spelling Bee, no doubt. Numbers maybe the one with the woman who had the painting stolen by the Nazis.


My favorite character(s)/pairing(s) from last season on those shows is/are: Heroes I actually like the Hiro/Ando ship. Bones I love Angela/Jack. Other than that, nothing spectacular.


If I had to recommend two shows from last season that are coming back this year, they'd be: Heroes and Doctor Who (too bad I can't have 3, I would say Bones, too)

If I had to recommend two shows that aren't airing anymore but which can be obtained via DVD or (ideally legal) download, they'd be: Buffy and Tru Calling

I will absolutely never watch... (Either something that's already on, or something that's starting this fall) The show that is going to have the Geico cavemen. Ugh.

All time? That's a tough one. I really like the Veronica Mars theme song by Dandy Warhol (she should have been mentioned above as well). For all time fav, I think I would have to go with the Facts of Life theme. Loved that song.
