Fall 2007 TV Season-Inspired Friending Meme

wendy has a great friending meme right now, but with the new Fall 2007 tv season about to start in the US, it's probably a good time for a general-interest tv-inspired friending meme, too.

Last night, I was thinking about how a year or so ago, some people on my flist were looking forward to the first season of Studio 60 and others were squeeing about the Heroes pilot, and some were wondering what would happen on House, or SPN, or any one of a dozen other shows - and now a new fall season is just around the corner and dvds of last season are hitting stores with regularity, so please participate and pimp, regardless of where you live, or even if you own a tv set! If you're interested in any currently-airing shows, this meme is for you!

This season, I'm looking forward to these new shows: Journeyman, aaaand - that's it actually. Sigh.


This season, I'm planning on continuing to watch:Heroes, Stargate Atlantis, Eureka, Battlestar Galactica, Dresden Files (I live in hope), Torchwood (in 2008 assuming I don't die of longing before then - is that technically next season? *wail*), House, Grey's Anatomy.

My favorite episode(s) from last season on those shows is/are:So many! Those that leap to mind are Tao of Rodney (SGA), Countrycide & Captain Jack Harkness (Torchwood), and the season finale of BSG.


My favorite character(s)/pairing(s) from last season on those shows is/are:Jack/whoever-as-long-as-it's-well-written, John/Rodney, Teyla/Ronon, House/Wilson, Starbuck/Apollo

If I had to recommend two shows from last season that are coming back this year, they'd be:Stargate Atlantis and Torchwood

If I had to recommend two shows that aren't airing anymore but which can be obtained via DVD or (ideally legal) download, they'd be:Firefly and The Dresden Files

I will absolutely never watch... Lost - I can't express how rambling never-concluding pseudo-plots annoy me! Also, Project Runway and similar shows.

You also should know that I....put most entries of more than about 10 lines behind cuts. People only interested in fannish content are placed on a fandom filter and thus get to avoid random crap about my life - just state your preference either when friending or at any time thereafter.

Dresden Files are gone for good, it seems. We can still hope, but woe, what an AMAZING show (and I love the books too). Tear. It really wasn't doing that badly, but I guess compared to Eureka...
