I love Prisoner of Azkaban with my whole soul. The expansion into the wider wizarding world, the characterizations of Remus and Sirius, the reveals regarding the complicated relationship betweeen Snape and James, the impact on Harry in how he learns about magic and his family and himself and the who.e structure of the time travel scenes solidified my heart for the series. 

I ordered my copy from the UK when Amazon.co.uk was only allowed to sell one per US address. I couldn't wait for the US release because I was due with my first about a week after the UK release, and I was hoping that I wouldn't go into labor before reading the book - I feared I wouldn't have time if I didn't finish it before Harry came. Which, of course, started the bizarre trend of me having babies just before the releases of OotP and HBP.

There are parts in all the books that made me swoon and gasp and delight and adore and cry but PoA was my true marker into HP Fangirl.

If you have a ticket to Night of a Thousand Wizards, we’ll be selling tickets for a special raffle – six lucky people will have the chance to fly through Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter with either Chris Rankin or Christian Coulson! Raffle tickets will cost $5 each, and will be available at the Registration Add-Ons desk on Thursday, and on Friday until 2 p.m. – we may have them on Wednesday, too, but we wont be sure about that until that day.

All proceeds from this raffle will be divided among the HP Alliance, Kids Need To Read and HPEF.

Raffle winners must have a ticket to Night of a Thousand Wizards and must be in the Sindbad Theater by 11 p.m. on July 16 or their prize will be forfeit.
