03. What house would you be in?
Sparklypoo! Just like Pansy in my icon!
No, seriously, I keep getting sorted into Hufflepuff, but I have had my moments of braverism[/wicked], although they're mostly of the intellectual variety where I do wacky things like try to school Apple on why fair use means that an iPhone app that contains a schedule for a conference is allowed to use "elements" from Harry Potter such as character names in the summaries of sessions that are focused on things like analysis of said character's personality.
I am really wondering if the ALA would've had the same response if they created an app with a schedule in it that had titles like "The Impact of the Harry Potter series on Millennial YA Novels" because that contains an element right there. Anyhow, as you'll find out tomorrow, thanks to a few phone calls and the fact that the law is 100% on our side, there's gonna be a shiny new Infinitus App tomorrow (yes, you could find it now but the schedule times haven't been perfectly updated, so if you get it make sure you update it tomorrow or Thursday, too).
Back to houses! I'm not a Slytherin, but I love and respect my friends who are. I do love reading and knowledge, but I have major issues with formulas and maths and would probably not thrive in Ravenclaw, even if the Hat saw a bit of bibliomania in my head. I tend to throw myself into projects and work weirdly intensely at them, which feels vaguely Hufflepuffian. So even though I look really, really bad in yellow, I stand with the badgers.

So, tomorrow, I am getting:
1. New Crowded House album (download)
2. New Naomi Novik novel (download, purchasing a paper copy for her to sign at Infinitus)
3. New White Collar episode (viewed if I am in my hotel room by then, DL on itunes otherwise
4. Butterbeer at the WWoHP if I have time to run in
5. New iPhone/iPad Infinitus Scheduling App called the Sorting App! It is downloadable from the iTunes store now but needs an update on the scheduled times, etc. So I recommend getting it tomorrow. It's terrific.
This is what the back of my car looked like before I put my suitcase in.And the back seat is full of bags from Lush - about 500 lucky, randomly chosen Infinitus registrants will get a lovely LUSH giftie in their registration pack. LOVE the Aventura, FL LUSH for being so supportive of Harry Potter & fandom!
Heading up to Orlando in about nine hours. Should catch some sleep first... if I can!
SO excited! SQUEE! Fandomy fun!
