Hopefully fixed it when I was up with the kids during the night.

My mom emailed me this morning about a poll on MSNBC that is being freeped - right wingers who hate Obama are giving him an "F" for his first 100 days (I expect the D's are coming from people who fundamentally disagee with his policies and while I don't agree with their political viewpoints, I can see where their views come from).

It seems that voting in the poll is not limited to people in the US, and no it isn't a scientific poll but MSNBC will probably report on the results, so let your voice be heard.

Off to pack for North Carolina! WeatherUnderground says it's in the 70s during the day and in the 40s at night, so should I be ok with sweaters and a blazer, and no actual jacket?

I find it interesting how few people have given him a B, C or even D. Makes me wonder how much of it is actually people analysing what he's done rather than just voting along political lines.

Well, to be honest, I think what happened is a lot of people who might otherwise give him a B if they were thinking about it seriously are giving him an A because the poll is getting fucked with and they want him to have more As than Fs. Plus a lot of people who would give him a B if this were, say, his third year in office, are giving him an A for effort.

A blazer should be fine. The wind is supposed to calm down tonight. Also, I got your comment, and will give you a call when I get out.

Depends on where in North Carolina. Raliegh right? Here in Greenville (an hour east) I haven't put on more than jeans and a light raincoat. Definitely being an umbrella! It has been raining off and on for two days and you never know when it is going to hit. :) Weather in North Carolina is so much fun...

I think it's fair to say that so far he's failing the country, party lines or not. He's done very little good and instead has managed to get us trillions of dollars in debt in his first hundred days. Imagine what it'll be like at the end of four years.

I'd rather not turn this into a political rant, but I think there's a number of fair reason he's getting so many low grades, and for some it might have to do with party lines, but for others it might (shockingly) have to do with his actual performance. 55% (at this point) have given him a D or an F, even after the call through blogs to give him an A and repost. He isn't the political savior so many people worship(ed) him as, and I'm curious to see how that plays out in the coming months and years.
