Amazon has a poll to determine the top video clip from Sesame Street as it approaches its 40th anniversary.

I voted for The #12 Rollercoaster. Which one is your favorite?

Since SPN was mentioned on the cover of Entertainment Weekly this week, and is the subject of a four-page article, Ken Tucker recommends five six episodes to catch up and get into the series if you haven't watched any yet. Read his list here. Would you have included anything else? Did he include something you find unnecessary? I probably would have included Jus In Belo instead of Bad Day at Black Rock, but otherwise I agree with the list.

Also, does anyone have any recommendations on getting a four year old to sit for ten minutes for her nebulizer, which she hates? I've tried putting on movies that she wants, and it doesn't really help...

We struggled with the nebulizer too--especially at first--but had some success with singing, rocking, movies, and funny fish mask versions of the standard masks (we'd let the kidlet play with them during off times, so that it wasn't so frightening. Same with his nebulizer, so that he could get used to the noise.) We ended up moving to an MDI w/spacer when he was about two though, which pretty much put an end to all battles. If the ped/pulmo will go for it, that'd be my top suggestion.

If you're stuck with a nebulizer, I've heard great things about the Omron (http://www.portablenebs.com/) from several people. It's whisper quiet, which makes it much more bearable for a lot of kids. And although it's an ultrasonic model, it can deliver Pulmicort, which is pretty much a must.
