This vid was created for the spn_gleeweek Spring, 2008 "S3 Finale Intro" challenge - when tvm asked for thoughts about challenges and stuff for Gleeweek, I had just finished doing a fake-intro-song-for-the-Season-Three-finale (on a prompt from missyjack and cathybites) to the Shrek II version of "La Vida Loca", and I thought it would be terrific to see other vidders' takes on the season-finale-intro.

This song was suggested by musesfool, who knows all things Springsteen, and I chose it as my Gleeweek entry because I wanted to use the lines "It ain't no sin to be glad you're alive..." and "...let the broken hearts stand..." and so there you have it!

In other fannish things:
1. kellifer_fic's fic that I won in Sweet Charity is live and accessible - check it out for some adorable Sam Winchester/Jess Mariano crossover sweetness. PG-13, lovely, sweet and so perfectly in-character for both of the boys!

2. spn_eyecon, EyeConFla, etc - it all means that the weekend of September 26-28, I will be back in Orlando for what I am sure will be another fantastic fannish experience! Who's coming?

Im trying. Really, really hard right now. It's all financial at the moment. But my lease runs out at the end of July so that seems as best a time as any. I'm just going to try to sell off some of my furniture now and see what is going from there. If I have to live like a poor college student for a few years, who cares? I've been doing it for awhile anyway. :)

Hhhhhmmm another Eyecon you say??? My interest in going is definitely peaked. I will have to see what my financial situation is when it gets a little closer since I have my heart set on going to Creationcon in Chicago in November. But I just may be able to swing both :D

The general admission tickets are only fifty bucks, so even though the seats aren't terrific with those, you can get the autograph add-ons and photo ops and stuff, too, later. And I know there's a slew of people looking for roommates!
