Are you doing anything particularly unusual today?

Is this the day that "doesn't count" for things like diets, workout schedules, school-things?

And, wendywoowho, how old is Fredric today? Pushing 40 birthdays?

In other words, happy leap day, everyone!

Q to those of you with under-7-year-old kids - have you seen Bindi the Jungle Girl? Am I the only one creeped out by the theme song lyrics, ""The Croc Hunter taught her/ and now his only daughter/ is Bindi the Jungle Girl...." - and the fact that in the ad, she's dancing to it?

My kids occasionally watch the show, but I try to fast forward over the song; is it just me?

So they're weird to Australians too, huh? Good to know. Yeah - I didn't like how she was exploited either. I hope she's gotten some peace from the media since then.
