Hey, Northern Hemisphere people?

Anyone wearing white shoes (not sneakers) today?

What's the rule in the Antipodes about wearing white? Is it something you're only to do between, say, Christmas & Easter, or is there no old fashioned etiquette rule on it?

Do those of you in Europe have a dictate on it? Summer months only? Only months without an "R"?

I'm feeling curious, notsomuch fashion conscious....

Sneakers don't count.

I avoid the issue but not owning any white dress shoes/sandals. I have taupe, black, brown, navy but NO white. And no white skirts. *shudders* Don't want my arse to look any bigger than it is.

I think white dresses are different from white skirts, though - maybe because it's the whole-body line instead of having your body bifurcated at the waist?
