Apr. 14th, 2007 03:26 pmI'm so far behind that someone already probably posted this, but in the same issue of EW that spotlights Supernatural as the tv pick of the week, Dalton Ross deems writing fanfiction a sign that one is an SF/F nerd (along with donning Spock ears and deciphering TNG, HRG, ESB, BSG, TARDIS and CSM (I bet all of you can get at least three of those!).
And he also lists the five worst songs to listen to while getting it on:
Mr Roboto by Styx
I Drink Alone by George Thorogood
Anything by Weird Al
I Ran by A Flock of Seagulls
Ninja Rap by Vanilla Ice (yes, it's from the first TMNT (decipher? ;) movie
What do you think the worst song to listen to while getting it on is?
My vote is probably for Adams Family Rap by MC Hammer, although I can think of a dozen (mostly about child abuse) like Suzanne Vega's Luka that are all equally bad.
What's your pick?

Date: 2007-04-14 08:35 pm (UTC)If you want to be really annoying, say "da yo ne" all the time, which is just like "da ne" only more emphatic. There's a really funny Japanese rap song called "da yo ne" by East End X Yuri.
Like like, "da ne" has an actual use and meaning (it means something along the lines of "that's how it is, you know?") but saying it all the time just means you're an inarticulate brat.
