The end of the year always gets like this...

I run out of time to finish things before January 1 rolls around every year. The new year isn't a cut-off, things don't need to be abandoned, and I do plan to finish the two vids and three drabbles, as well as the two unfinished SPN fics that I owe. Aaron and I are heading out of town for the week of my birthday and at the very least, I should be able to finish the ficcing then, and reply to comments today.

It's been a long weekend.

I have a quick vid-rec: micewerefurious has an amazing Master-centric vid to You Can't Stop the Beat from Hairspray which is amazing and appropriate and involves mentions of being "lost til I heard the drums..." and "two hearts". A total must-watch, IMHO.

And of course, Dave Barry's 2007 Year in Review is now up - and of course, it's funny!

The fic-year-in-review meme is making its way around and I've seen the modifications for fanart, but is there a vidding-specific one? If not I'll just tweak the fic one to include vids, too, I guess?

My Fan Creativity Year in Review

I've never done one of these before - probably because I've never created this many fanworks in all the time I've been on LJ. I did most of my fanfic writing back in 2000 and the firt half of 2001, and then did maybe an additional 10,000 words in the five years that followed. This year, though, I discovered a love for drabbling post-episode of shows I loved, and a bit of an obsession with vidding, so I finally can do ( My Fan Creativity Year in Review )
