Register for Prophecy!
Sep. 1st, 2006 04:33 pmRegistration is now open for Prophecy 2007, taking place in Toronto, Ontario, from August 2 - 5, 2007. And for one week only, you can register at the same price that was available at Lumos this summer - $125 USD for basic Prophecy 2007 admission, or $175 USD for admission including Welcoming and Leaving Feasts (and yes, you can upgrade from the lower to the pricier if you wish).
At this point, I am hoping to go, but because of everything that happened last month with my sister, I feel like my own wishes need to be deferred to family concerns. So I'm going to register for it, but I can't swear that registering means I'll be there for all of it - of course, I registered for TWH and Lumos, too, and only attended both of them for a single night each, so the same thing may happen next summer.

Date: 2006-09-01 09:35 pm (UTC)However, that's not so expensive a preregistration price that I would kick myself for spending when I couldn't go, now is it?
And if I knew I was free to attend, I would propose to present about how the series deals with magic, monarchy and alternate history.

Date: 2006-09-01 09:48 pm (UTC)Have I ever told you my theory that Elizabeth Tudor actually spent her exile from Mary's court teaching transfiguration at Hogwarts?
Srsly. I mean, her mom was a Slytherin Old Girl, right?
