And now...
Aug. 6th, 2006 05:57 pmThis morning, Lizzy and Brian's older dog, Mooshoo, died of a broken heart. She hadn't eaten since Thursday, and today, her heart stopped working.
We know she knew.
Oh, and the stupid idiots in the obit department at the LA Times ignored the request in the email I sent to them with the obit to call Brian's brother to confirm any details or payment info, and instead, emailed me 21 minutes before deadline to tell *me* to call them. I was somewhere over Colorado on the plane. So, of course, it didn't run today.
Does anyone know someone at the LAT who can let me know who to talk to regarding this?

Date: 2006-08-06 10:21 pm (UTC)With the housing market the way it is right now in South Florida, my parents may still be down there and I'll be coming for Thanksgiving again this year.
Much love to you, boo. I'm keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.

The main number there is: (213) 237-5000
Hope this helps.

Date: 2006-08-07 02:02 am (UTC)I still think "Where the Red Fern Grows" is about the saddest book/movie ever, and if I were to ever be an actress and need to cry at the drop of a hat, that is absolutely what I would dredge up and I could do it. I could cry right this second if I think too hard about that movie/book. Yes, animals know. Absolutely.
