I used to keep a tape atop the vhs recorder when I was in high school, and when I would watch mtv, I'd put it in and tape stuff I liked.

I just found the one from fall, 1987

Then the music stops and there's an episode of The Young Ones and then that michael kamen levi's ad where he strips in the laundromat.

VH1 classics OWNZ me. And I need to figure out how to get this onto dvd.

Don't you have a DVD recorder yet?

The best ones I've heard of thus far are made by Panasonic:
Panasonic DMR-E80H Progressive-Scan DVD Player/Recorder with Hard Drive

There are others Panasonic makes with a larger hard drive, but this is the one I'll probably get because it's most likely the one I can afford. *g*

Heh...I have a pile of VHS tapes of 120 Minutes from 1991-1992, including some episodes of Liquid Television. I consider them historical artifacts.
