Is this group actually harassing other LJ users in the community by their threats of lawsuits?
Could they, in effect, be kicked out of LJ for what they're doing?

Well, it sounds like they don't have a legal leg to stand on ("
commercial
purposes" - emphasis mine), so... maybe that makes it more harrassment and less fair warning? I certainly feel harassed, and I'm not even on their blacklist.

My thoughts exactly. When everyone started talking about it, I checked it out and then rolled my eyes and ignored it.
This, however, is really really really aggravating me. And it's no longer something that's "best to be ignored" or whatever.
