Greetings from the middle of the beautiful briney blue!

We're en route to St Maarten's right now, and we're spending the whole day at sea. Jon is resting in his stroller and I've rented a laptop to finish an article I have that's due on Wednesday (yikes).

Question for tabithajones and others - if you were at sea and could choose between lying in the sun or hanging on your own veranda watching Pirates of the Caribbean on your tv, which would it be?

Just curious...

Will possibly post more tomorrow but internet access is crazy-expensive, so I'm not reading email.

Pointless things to get Simon for Xmas:

1. Cuban cigars, which one can purchase in Nassau
2. Rum, as the cost of sending it to the UK would greatly outweigh the savings from purchasing it duty-free
3. Guinesses. Same deal.
4. One of those sweatshirts that chance colour in the sunshine because, well, when it's cool enough to wear a sweatshirt in the UK (ie fall, winter, spring) there is no sunshine, haha.

1) Do not smoke
2) Rum is good, though can get it over here
3) Going to Dublin in January, can get Guinness there
4) You forgot to mention wearing the sweatshirt in summer.
