loading? as installing xp instead of 98? or on a spearate partition, or as a emulator?

If a) or b), press esc or something when your computer turns on (they tell you which key it is on the startup thing), and say boot from cd rom... follow the blue screen instructions from then on (note option a) reformats harddrive).

if c), im not sure. why would you need to do this anyway?

it depends whether you have a "new hardware" version of xp or a "upgrade" version of xp With the one made for upgrades, this is not a problem. if it is a full version, especially if it is a version that comes with new hardware, you can't, unless i'm forgetting something, which might be possible.
