Dropping a 800 pg book on bebe would be bad, to say the least.
And yes, go Mom! That's nice that you will have relative peace when reading. slytherincess did all her housework and stuff today so she could lock herself in a room and read in peace.
I think they should have marketed an OotP book holder for new moms that you can wear around your neck or something, so you can have both hands free. ;)
They should market something like that to *everyone*...I'm not a new mom (my dd is almost 7) but I could use something like that... the OotPSling, for those who don't want to use the book as a hand-weight (imagining the muscles I could build by hauling a copy of OotP in each hand)...
