I'm just hoping I can figure out a way to read the book without risking dropping it on bebe.

And Harry will be spending Saturday with my mum, who is patient enough to wait until I've finished reading before she starts. Go mom!

*laughs*

Dropping a 800 pg book on bebe would be bad, to say the least.

And yes, go Mom! That's nice that you will have relative peace when reading. [livejournal.com profile] slytherincess did all her housework and stuff today so she could lock herself in a room and read in peace.

You ordered your copy of OotP in February *2001*?? No wonder you're so tired of waiting :-) Damn, I'm bad today. To start with I'm one of those "Elite Grammar Whores" (see [livejournal.com profile] logansrogue). Plus I'm bouncing off the walls waiting to pick up my own copy of OotP, which will occur either shortly after midnight or around 9:00 a.m. Saturday (depending on whether I take my kid to Borders for the OotP party). But I know what you actually meant, Heidi -- and please don't drop that book on Baby Jon!! ;-)

I think they should have marketed an OotP book holder for new moms that you can wear around your neck or something, so you can have both hands free. ;)

How can you be patient? I haven't sat still in two days. The wait is going to kill me I think.

Ok, only 12 hours 17 minutes until my Hamlet gets his copy (which I am stealing overnight) and mine shows up tomorrow. I can make it, I hope.

Although I am rather impressed that you ordered OotP in 2001.

They should market something like that to *everyone*...I'm not a new mom (my dd is almost 7) but I could use something like that... the OotPSling, for those who don't want to use the book as a hand-weight (imagining the muscles I could build by hauling a copy of OotP in each hand)...

The sling. I believe in the power of the sling. It may be the only thing that saves Meg from 800+ pages of hurt.

I'll be walking around the house with Meg in sling, reading aloud so she'll stay calm. Heh.

I'm off to track my book again on FedEx. *is all goofy*
