1. Has nobody mentioned that on the last Buffy, there was a mention of "The Bad Place"?

: waves to Joss, who, I again am convinced is hanging out in some section of the fandom

2. As many of you know, we've spent the past seven months renovating our house. These images are *very* high res, but if you're interested in seeing Aaron's Comic Book Closet or the dining room walls (raspberry coloured) feel free to click.

3. In other news, still pregnant. But my sister is finally in the state, from California (although she's hanging out at Disney until I go into labour) so I'm glad she'll be here when Bebe decides to show up. Likely plan is that if I don't go into labour on my own, I'll be induced a week from today.

Simon, are you happy now?

And now we know, this child will be a gemini. Yay.

31st, quite early in the day please :D
So being induced on the 30th is fine, as long as you do not rush the labour.

::waves::

am gone for the weekend :D

Me! I started snickering but couldn't explain why to my friends (who aren't in HP fandom) why I found it so funny...

As I was lying in bed this morning, conjuring the effort to crawl out, I noted the date and made a mental plea that you should go into labour tonight. ;)

[Side note: my biology teacher would have had your head for using the term 'very' pregnant]

And - I never would have thought to use that colour on walls, but your dining room looks *great*. I love it! (and I'm not a big pink fan).

Wheee

Just like me! Go Gemini! (But I hope little one comes soon. I know this part is agony.)

That paint color is great! I'd have never considered it for being too dark but it looks lovely. Glad the baby waited for your sister to get in town. :)

LOL...well I'd buy that if it weren't that The Bad Place is actually exponentially more popular as a Dean Koontz book...I think I even saw someone on the web say their washing machine came from the bad place...and if JW is hanging out in the HP fandom, we can definitely use that reasoning to explain certain episodes of this season and last...(though I loved the finale, thought it absolutely fitting).

And why the hell are you still pregnant? It's your day, aren't you over schedule? Tsk tsk. I'm starting to think I should enter that pool...

1. My spontanious thought was 'Cassie is Joss, Joss is Cassie!' But then I remembered Cassie looks nothing like Joss (except probably close in height) and stopped jumping up and down with t00biness.

2. You dining room walls look awesome!

3. Was thinking about Jumper being a Gemini on the way home. Just like me! Go Gemini!! (And a goat, in the Chinese calendar, just like [livejournal.com profile] ina, which is also good!!)

I was starting to worry, when we didn't hear from you for so long (and then I'd convinced myself that I might have won the pool. Damn! *snaps fingers*). I suppose if you ever wondered about the "Indian food brings on labour" rumour, now is the time to find out. ;-)

The raspberry walls are beautiful--I must keep that in mind for the day I manage to own a house. I was even more tickled to see the prominently displayed Harry Potter audio books (not to mention the copy of War for the Oaks, one of my favourite comfort reads).

Oh, beautiful colors, Heidi.

I love rich, deep colors-- reds especially.

Sending natural labor vibes your way.

2. If the boxes in the comic book closet were books, that photograph could have been taken in my "library corner." The raspberry looks wonderful -- especially in contrast with the happy yellow in the next room.

3. Happiness that your sister has arrived, good luck with natural labour rather than induced, and I'll "hold my thumbs" for you and Jumper and all of your medical professional people.

wow. this week has been full of meta-ey goodness. i did catch the "bad place" reference, and laughed hysterically. noone else knew why, and they assumed i was just being my usual crazy. =)

but it gets better -- anyone who has a copy of Jane magazine's June/July issue, go check out the survey results -- they gave the write-ins that most amused them, and three people wrote in Sam and Frodo as Couple Most Likely to Last! Yet another chance for me to laugh myself sick.

I have a sneaking suspicion I could guess at least one of those three people, too... =)

Best wishes for a quick birth!
