Bush said something sensible on Friday.
No, not that Bush. His brother. The guy who's the governer of my (often silly) state.

In our country, people may not agree with my brother's actions. But in our country, we can express our opinion...

Jeb, I still don't support many of your policies, but I now have a smidge of respect for you - moreso than I do for people like the congressman who said that any protest against or disagreement with the war is treasonous.

Yes you do. But don't you think what they said was a just a bit rediculous, at least from a common sense point of view? I mean, common sense would tell you (and should have told them) that most of their fans, most country fans in general, tend to be rather more patriotic than average and they would likely take offense to comments like that.

Certainly they have the right to say anything they like, even if I think it was supremely stupid. But then I have the right to no longer buy their CDs. And from the way their record sales have plummetted, it looks like others are exercising that same right.
