...Back.
Yesterday, I had a sciatica attack.
For those of you who've never been withchild,
It's a nerve pinch that's quite the opposite of mild.
I couldn't walk for about an hour,
But with a little Blackberry Power,
I had some tips from RJA and Ali,
And now can manage a bit of sitting.


Any further tips on coping with sciatica would be GREATLY appreicated.

I've been living with sciatica for the past 10 months...it's NOT fun. I find that lying on my back on the floor with my legs bent helps to alleviate some of the pain, plus using a heating pad. If the pain is down one leg, stretch that leg. One thing you can do is lie on your back, cross the ankle of the leg that hurts onto the opposite knee, and lift the opposite leg to stretch along your hamstrings and through the sciatic notch thingie. Sleep on your back with a pillow under your knees, too. The thing is, though, is usually has to just heal on its own, and that can take a long time if you're not careful, or even if you are.
