It feels GREAT!

I've been able to feel Jumper's kicks and twists for the past few months, but since the weekend, family has finally been able to feel his kicks by putting their hands on my belly. Of course, non-family is required to ask first, but in this house, it's actively encouraged.

Harry's expression when he felt it was wonderful - he'd felt one kick before, back in December after he poked my belly, but this was different. We were just sitting and reading and KICK!

Now, if only I could work through the insomnia...

Love that feeling, except when the little bugger winds you :)

Awww, I've always wondered what that feels like, either from the mother's *or* from a hand-on-belly perspective. I've never even gotten to do the latter - on the rare occasion when I was allowed to touch someone, the baby didn't move.

Any chance of seeing a pregnant!Heidi pic someday? :)

I am right there with you! So much fun :) Sprout is kicking me right this very minute in fact. *Sprout waves to Jumper*

We are at the stage where other people can not only feel but see her movements, which is really bizarre and amazing!

And yeah, the insomnia... it's, er, 4:45 in the morning for me at the moment ;)

So glad you guys are doing well.

That's awesome, Heidi. I used to love the kicks too. Soon your whole belly will be moving if it already isn't. It's great being able to share the baby in that way with close friends and family, isn't it?

Hugs,
Elia

Yay for Jumper kicks! That's my favorite thing about pregnancy, is the kicks (and the wriggles and the squirms and yes, even the "poke - hey mama, is that your BLADDER?").

Mr. PH likes to hold his hands on my belly while Mega moves around. It's great.

Yay for kicking! It's so adorable! I didn't get to feel too many kicks with my sister's last pregnancy since I only saw her at one point before she had Lauren, but now that I'm a lot closer for this pregnancy I'm looking forward to feeling a lot more - although I'm going to be good and ask beforehand.

That is so fun, except the insomnia. You can now sing I Get A Kick Out Of You to Jumper on a daily, if not hourly basis. How cute for Harry to feel the reality of the new baby in this way - I am sure it will help him bond more rapidly with the new baby. *hugs gently*

wo-hoo! Three cheers for Jumper!

(brief introduction: I'm from the Sugarquill and check TLC daily.)

I've got a wee question for you, in fact, relating to Jumper.

I've been trying to get pregnant for 15 months now, and we're
booked at a Fertility Clinic some time in the next couple of months
(British National Health Service, say no more.) I was wondering
whether you might have an uplifting story to share with me and piperx,
another Quiller and LJ user who's trying to get pregnant. Such as "Oh girls,
I was really stressed and thought it would never happen but then I got
pregnant."

In the mean time, I'm regularly checking your LJ for updates on Jumper.
It's so inspiring to hear about him/her, and I'm so happy for you.
