I've been kicked a lot today
Feb. 4th, 2003 03:05 amIt feels GREAT!
I've been able to feel Jumper's kicks and twists for the past few months, but since the weekend, family has finally been able to feel his kicks by putting their hands on my belly. Of course, non-family is required to ask first, but in this house, it's actively encouraged.
Harry's expression when he felt it was wonderful - he'd felt one kick before, back in December after he poked my belly, but this was different. We were just sitting and reading and KICK!
Now, if only I could work through the insomnia...

And yeah, the insomnia... it's, er, 4:45 in the morning for me at the moment ;)
So glad you guys are doing well.

I've got a wee question for you, in fact, relating to Jumper.
I've been trying to get pregnant for 15 months now, and we're
booked at a Fertility Clinic some time in the next couple of months
(British National Health Service, say no more.) I was wondering
whether you might have an uplifting story to share with me and piperx,
another Quiller and LJ user who's trying to get pregnant. Such as "Oh girls,
I was really stressed and thought it would never happen but then I got
pregnant."
In the mean time, I'm regularly checking your LJ for updates on Jumper.
It's so inspiring to hear about him/her, and I'm so happy for you.
