01. The first character I fell in love with: Fantine, because she gets the first big solo number of emotional resonance (Valjean's first is more exposition/setting the stage).
02. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Eponine. I didn't love her in the book, but in the musical, she's fantastic.
03. The character everyone else loves that I don't: Yeah, not a massive Cosette fan. But I don't like Lucy Manet in A Tale of Two Cities either. Something about circa-revolutionary French socialites.
04. The character I love that everyone else hates: Not quite an answer, but in the more recent production, I felt so much worse for Javert then I did when I was a teenager.
05. The character I used to love but don't any longer: None, really.
06. The character I would shag were I (and the character, if appropriate) not married: Marius, I guess?
07. The character I'd want to be like: None because they all end up dead too soon, except for Cosette who I don't really like, and Marius.
08. The character I'd slap: Sometimes, Enjolras because, really. You don't need to die just because you want something to happen a certain way. Self-sacrifice to make a point is not my thing.
09. A pairing that I love: Marius/Eponine! And the spiritual aspect of Fantine/Valjean.
10. A pairing that I despise: Cosette/Marius. She's annoying and he would've been better off with Eponine, but clearly in the time in which the story took place that could never happen.

01. The first character I fell in love with: PETER!

02. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Nathan! I did think he was a jerk in the first episode and probably all the way through him showing up in Texas, but from that moment on... Mmm, Nathan.

03. The character everyone else loves that I don't: Matt? I like Greg Grunberg as an actor and as a person, but they never seemed to really know what to do with Matt for long stretches of time.

04. The character I love that everyone else hates: Is there anyone that everyone hates? I kind of always liked Nikki and Jessica and Tracey, even though TPTB had massive weirdness issues with the Tracey story-arc. Also, Angela Petrelli is evil! But fascinating!

05. The character I used to love but don't any longer: Mohinder in the last two seasons. They should've let him off the show when he wanted to go. But Mohinder in S1 and S2 is fantastic and wonderful and his relationship with Sylar should have been taken to its natural endgame.

06. The character I would shag were I (and the character, if appropriate) not married: Peter and Nathan. But there would be issues, as I am a Heidi.

07. The character I'd want to be like: Claire, I guess? I like the healing ability thing and she's not evil or horrible most of the time.

08. The character I'd slap: Gabriel, sometimes.

09. A pairing that I love: A? A pairing? What pairing on this show don't I love? Peter is a little black dress and goes with eveyone!

10. A pairing that I despise: Most every pairing that showed up completely out of the blue in the final season.

Avengers-verse, ok?

01. The first character I fell in love with: IRON MAN! But I've been in love with RDJ since I was 13 or so, so I pretty much knew that was going to happen.

02. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Natasha or Loki - I didn't really like her in Iron Man 2 but she was awesome in Avengers. And Loki? I have to admit, I never saw the trailer for Thor and going back Hiddleston was in them so minorly I don't think I would've noticed him. But from the first moments of the film, I was completely enthralled!

03. The character everyone else loves that I don't: Does anyone love Maria? Sorry, just, not interested.

04. The character I love that everyone else hates: Yeah, people hate Loki, and Natasha. Screw 'em all.

05. The character I used to love but don't any longer: Er, nobody. I LOVE EVERYONE IN THIS BAR FILM!

06. The character I would shag were I (and the character, if appropriate) not married: Tony is definitely safer than Loki, for mental health purposes.

07. The character I'd want to be like: Not any of the Mains! Not brave or strong or sciencey-smart enough! So, maybe Galaga Guy? He survives to the end of the film, and Tony Stark notices him!

08. The character I'd slap: Loki! Aw, idiotic woobie.

09. A pairing that I love: ALL THE PAIRINGS! I SHIP EVERYONE IN THIS BAR FILM WITH EVERYONE ELSE!

10. A pairing that I despise: Okay, fine, I don't ship Maria/any Avenger. Although I would ship her with Galaga Guy.

I hope they Develop Maria's character more, because right now she feels flat. I get the feeling that (if the rumor is correct and Son of Coul's plot was dictated by Marvel and not a Joss decision) she was introduced here to take the place of Son of Coul. so there wasn't much room for character development.

I'm interested because YAY MORE AWESOME LADIES, but right now the characterization is just ... flat.
