Birthday chart from Tumblr

I'm a week behind on LJ from all the traveling and conventioning and alumni weekending, but I saw this on tumblr, and I had to share - especially with imaginarycircus, flourish, smilie117, thistlerose, chickadilly, loneraven, roguebitch, cho_malfoy, and all my mid-January cohorts! We seem to be the least popular birthday chunk of the year, but I think I have more friends born in that 10 day timeframe than almost any other. Or is it, because it's me too, just more noticeable to me?

I don't know! There's another person on my flist with my birthday, but somehow I hadn't realized that you and I also shared a natal day. I'll be sure to wish you well next year! ;)

Definitely! I am pretty sure there are blanks around Xmas and Thanksgiving because there are almost no elective c-sections performed then, but other than that, January is just a lull of a month. Wonder if it has to do with Easter/Passover usually coming in late March or early April?

When I was in high school, at least 10 people in my closeish-friends circle fell between July 10th and July 17th. Looking at this, it's apparently pretty common, but it was still a weird week. Also, I was always broke and having to pick between friends' parties.

April 7th over here. Apparently hanging out in the very cafe au lait range.

huh. I also notice my birthday is smack dab in the middle of the LIGHTEST stretch on the whole damned chart. I guess not many people are born around Thanksgiving? And, like you, I find I know a huge number of people within November 22-29...

I love how July is pretty common *except* for July 4 and 5 (my birthday!). :)
