POTTERMORE?
Jun. 15th, 2011 04:53 pmIf you're following the #SecretStreetView hashtag on Twitter, or the "coordinates" on various Potter websites, you'll have seen that JKR is about to make an announcement about something or other.
There are hidden letters and you have to find them - and when the letters got hacked by WizardingLife, they realized it was POTTERMORE.
So I went over to the US Trademark Office's website (hi,
chaeche!) and discovered a few things that I just tweeted about:
TM records suggest #Pottermore will be a #HarryPotter social networking site w/downloadable books, mags, audio & video DL, activities & more
1. Phone cards, cash cards, prerecorded tapes and discs (Ser. No. 77788098)
2. Lots of digital/ebook things (Ser.No.77788427)
3. Toys/sporting goods (Ser. No. 77788368)
4. Books & mags feat. action, adventure, comedy (Ser No. 77788107)
5. On-line retail store services featuring audio books, electronic books, books, magazines, etc. Ser. # 77788396
6 is the one I mentioned above: Providing multiple-user access to a global computer information network; providing on-line chat rooms and electronic bulletin boards for transmission of messages among users in the field of general interest; providing on-line communications links which transfer the web site user to other local and global web pages; providing on-line facilities for real-time interaction with other computer users concerning topics of general interest (Ser. No. 77788415)
I have my own hunches about some other things based on things I've heard in the last year or so (all cool) but this is all I can find from public records so far.
Could be cool!
