I just saw my prompt on the pinch hits list - but I did turn it in, and I posted here about the naming differences - somehow it didn't get spotted.

Anyone know what I am meant to do now? The fic is in the Collection, but I hate people thinking I defaulted, and while I know there's nothing to do about it, I am sad that the person who I wrote for may've seen her request on the list and think nobody wrote for her. But she'll get over it soon....

I figure email the mods about it? It's quite likely they made a mistake and missed it. Chances are, if they haven't responded to a pinch hitter yet, then they might just pretend they didn't send out that particular pinch hit. Otherwise, your recipient will get two fics which should make them doubly happy! :)

Oh and, I was just lurking in the IRC chatroom and Elyn said something about not getting the pinch hit email responses, so it might be quicker to get a response from her if you went to the IRC chatroom and asked her privately...

Yeah, just popped into the chatroom too and saw that - OY! Evil Yahoomort! I did cc her and Astolat on my email so hopefully we're all set. But given what yahoomort just did, my issue is the least of problems.

I'm sure it will be fine! They'll get all caught up, and the worst case scenario really is that the person gets 2 fics instead of one, which I'm sure will cheer her right up. :)
