heidi | Some days are like that

So it seems that because there is an error in the DMV computers here in Florida that lists the last letter of my last name as "U" instead of "Y", they don't have any record of my payment of a speeding ticket that I got in South Carolina this summer, and thus my license has been suspended and I have to go to the courthouse tomorrow with a bunch of paperwork to deal with all of this and the cop who pulled me over for going across an unbroken line while going around the block before picking up DH at work today said that if he'd been a rookie he could have arrested me for driving with a suspended license, despite the fact that it should never have been suspended in the first place so OMGWTF that was my day before I came home to

SHOW!

And a combination of the poster, and wondering where Jesse blinked himself off to, makes me think that maybe he is in Australia, at the end of a terrible, horrible, no-good, very bad day.

Or he's in Hawaii and Jensen will get that Brady Bunch Goes to Hawaii episode that he has talked about every so often, when they find him there.

Either that or he's in a really lovely little British town surrounded by green fields and hills and there's snow every Christmas, and he's got a dog named Dog.

I liked the episode because it drops anvils onto the gun on the mantelpiece (sorry, mixing metaphors, am tired) and also possibly explains how some demigods are created. Jesse's powers give him something similar to the Trickster - I don't think Show is going to go there, but it's possible that the Trickster's origins were something similar, in a generation long ago, and that demons build into their Grand Scheme the rape of a human every such number of years so someone with those powers is around for the War when the time is right and the Apocalypse happens.

Was the mention of Superman *finally* a shout-out to Smallville? If so, it could have been done better, given the adorableness of the past refs to Gilmore Girls and House of Wax. But then again, I'm still hoping for clones....

I didn't adore this ep the way I have every other episode of this season, but it was a entertaining, with some very terrific moments. And that's just fine.
