I finally read Entertainment Weekly's article about SPN today - had been waiting for my real paper copy, as I've been an EW subscriber since probably 1990.

I'd seen a few comments the last few days about the boys - and Eric - being tired and uninterested in a sixth season - and personally, I would rather that Show ends with five wonderful years rather than have a sixth that's mediocre or Winchester-light, separate and apart from Kripke's "five year plan" (which's been jacked around a bit from the 2008 writers' strike).

But the thing that I found especially interesting was that the article was based on on-set interviews less than a month after Kim died, and I wonder how much that impacted their exuberance and even their interest level at the time of the interview. I'd be curious as to what they'd say if someone asked them in Australia or Asylum if this was just how they felt then, or their overall feeling at this point.

Perhaps taking the summer off and traveling around the world a bit together will revitalize them a bit, if it is.

Dude, I don't think I can live through 6 years of SPN. For real. I need them to end it at 5 with a bang.

At some point I'll need to go have a real person's life, you know? ;)

ROTFL! That's pretty much my thought. I love the show, I'm gonna weep when it's gone, I'm going to mourn so very, very much about it ...

But then again, I only have room in my head for one obsession at a time, and some part of me will be glad to have my brain back, when it's all over. :-p

Per the EW article, though, I think some of those quotes are just snipped from other articles. I *know* I've seen the Jensen and Jared quotes elsewhere, before this.
