Wondering:
[Poll #1375423]

There's only about eleven hours left for Sweet Charity - and it's the last Sweet Charity ever, so if you want to win a Sweet Tart, get your bids in! My two vids are going for about 14 pounds each - one is crack, one is whatever you want. Bid, bid, bid! It all helps RAINN!

In other news, [livejournal.com profile] growyourwings reminded us that Jared and Jensen are pretty especially when they look at each other.

Also, Heroes last night was wonderful and shiny and just full of inappropriate Petrelli behaviours and I have really loved this season so much. I forgive a lot when it comes to Heroes, including the occasional out-of-the-blue characterization shift and I have no idea why. Maybe it's because I started watching the show from the first episode when my life was in a very horrible place and it cheered me and locked itself into my brain. But I am clearly never going to give this show up as long as it puts Petrellis on my screen at least every few weeks.

I knew the sequels sucked, but I watched them recently, and I was a little more forgiving. When I didn't hold them up to the first movie's standards, they weren't any worse than some of the action blockbusters I've seen.

Also, that picture of Jared and Jensen is beautiful. ♥

I haven't seen it yet. But as long as there is brother-touching, I'll be pleased.

MatrixKeanu ranks #4 on the Keanu Hotness Scale, #1 being SpeedKeanu, followed by TheReplacementsKeanu and JohnnyMnemonicKeanu. (Many years ago, I decided I wanted to start a cable channel dedicated to Keanu Reeves running in slow motion. I mean, who wouldn't want to watch that?)

No, nor can I.

And the appropriate anniversary gift is a SPOON.

I had some serious doubts about #2, but I was willing to wait them out and see what was up with #3. By the time #3 was done, the resulting hot mess was so egregious that I started to wonder whether #1 was as good as I remembered.

The lesson, as is the lesson of all things, is "Don't get cute."

I would put in a bid for "Speed" being the ultimate in Keanu prettiness and "The Matrix" the ultimate for badass-ness.

Yikes, ten years? That makes me feel old. :(

I don't have any spoon icons, but I do have a spork!

The Matrix was awesome

The Matrix Reloaded was a nifty action flick with some truly amazing set pieces

The Matrix Revolutions was ... teh crap (as we said at the t00bage)

The turning point is the end of the second film when Neo downs the sentinel. There were two ways out: the "real world" is in fact just a higher-level simulation (lots of interesting themes to explore, etc), or stop making any pretence at science fiction and descend into pure fantasy. Oh, well...

I didn't answer the one about Keanu because I really don't think he's attractive!
