No, not always. But in one of the scenes, the way his hair was falling cast a very Harry Potter shadow across his forehead.

I LOVED THAT PART!

Show totally had Harry Potter on the brain, and it put it in my head, too.

I have a hunch that reactions to this episode are going to be very mixed - it was SUCH a good SamnDean episode all the way through, but I did really hope that Sam would burst into the room in that final scene with Zacharias (and hey, that's the guy from Wayne's World!) but it hopefully put paid to so many of the issues that have been lingering...

And I say that as someone who was not a bit put off by Dean's angsting over the last few months. I know some on my flist have lost interest, or even lost respect for Dean, but I have that soft spot for the wounded w00bie with abandonment and PTSD issues (hello, Remus and Sirius!) that I kinda enjoyed it.

But it would also be nice if Show treats this as the sharp shock that changes where Dean was going.

LOVED the use of the Ghostfacers - but I generally think they're amusing and adorable anyway - although I am, as usual, surprised by the language the CW allows. LOVED the name choices for the boys, loved the boys' imagined backstories, loved the story itself, and the incorporation of the real-world economic issues. Loved the way they played with the boys' characters, Sam talking about it being in his blood and the double meaning of that especially given what Zachariah said to Dean in the end.

I'm amused that they gave us two shiny elevator scenes full of Subtext (Show giveth) and one elevator scene full of blood (Show taketh away).

Interesting parallel, people!

(So, where are the Missing Scene inserts? Are any posted by now?

How about now?

Now?

('Cause there has to be at least one with Sam having a Different Sort of Dream And The Aftermath Thereof, doesn't there?))

ETA Oh, I knew I was forgetting something.

Jensen's mouth is so so pretty.

I cannot be coherent about the episode 'cause I'm in too much fannish glee right now. The things I loved far outshadowed the things that made me roll my eyes. And I love The Ghostfacers for what they inject into the show. I loved The Lone Gunmen on XFiles, too. They have that same kind of vibe.

And right now, all I can think about in the episode was Sera giving us another lovely scene of Brotherly Love even though they didn't remember being brothers. And Tech Support Sam is my new favorite fantasy. HEE. I need some good, High Res screenshots so I can have new wallpaper at work.

Sorry, I'm rambling. I've already written long and rambly emails to two people about the episode, so I felt I had to come over here and share the glee with you, too. :D
