One of the most recent set of LJ releases means that you can now delete ANY old email accounts attached to your LiveJournal including (the new bit) the one you originally used to sign up with (as long as you've been using your current one for at least 6 months).

Anyone with old email addresses attached to their account, especially ones they don't have access too anymore and double especially hotmail ones should go here:

Also, I have to save to my LJ forever! WHERE oh where is that picture from?

And gacked from giandujakiss, the magic words that will likely cause YouTube to give you the music back if they've muted something because of a complaint from Universal or WBMG, or another copyright holder. Use only where actually true and appropriate, please.

Thanks very much for the heads up about the LJ email removal tool update; I've been worrying about this for a while since my very first LJ email address is/was a no longer accessible AOL account.

Kudos to LJ on the change, but it doesn't seem to work for communities. I have two comms that were created under other e-mail accounts, and it seems I don't have a way to change those. Feh.

No. When you change your name and decide to keep the association with the old one, it tells you that you can't change it later. So of course I decided later that I would rather disassociate it. Silly me.

My ipod isn't working in the car right now, so I listened to a lot of 80s stuff on Sirius - Adam Ant and the Stray Cats and a few other random bands from 1982 and 1983 - and realized that's probably when I started paying attention to Boys With Eyeliner. Aztec Camera and Neil Finn back when he was in Split Enz - and I think Jared is about a foot taller than either of them. It's not so much an adoration of the goth look per se, just that a little bit of black around the eyes can make boys look so, so pretty.

Ironic that I don't actually wear eyeliner myself, ever, isn't it?

Also, I wanted to let you know that my friend tried to get a hotel room for Azkatraz today, and the hotel told her they were out of rooms for the con. She's coming in Friday, so it's not an issue with the other con. After some haggling with the hotel, she got a con rate with a different room in the hotel. I wasn't sure if you were aware, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to give you a heads up. :)

So weird, because we talked to them about this on FRIDAY. We'll chat with them again on Tuesday and see how things are going and if they've been fixed.
