Hey, locals - what are the must-take tours? Expedia has a list and links to some they recommend here but what's good if you've already got some familiarity with DC and have done the basics? DuckTours?
Off topic - do you know of anyone that might have floor space? I'm only four hours away, but still being unemployed, I can't afford to do this on my own.
We've done Duck Tours in other cities - and are talking to the SanFrancisco one about something for azkatraz - so I can definitely see myself wanting to do one if the weather isn't too cold.
Bar at the 4Ps Table in front of stage at 4Ps Jukebox at 4Ps Back to table in front of stage at 4Ps Gentleman's Convenience at 4Ps (as needed) Back to table in front of stage at 4Ps Nanny O'Briens across the street (once thrown out of 4Ps)
It's a GREAT tour but the scenery doesn't change much.
I have never done any of these things. I usually drag my guests to out-of-the-way places. However, I must say the duck tour always looked like fun to me. Segways maybe even more so. Also, the museums have never let me down . . . and they're free!

Date: 2008-11-07 12:29 am (UTC)As for me, you know my preferred DC tour:
Bar at the 4Ps
Table in front of stage at 4Ps
Jukebox at 4Ps
Back to table in front of stage at 4Ps
Gentleman's Convenience at 4Ps (as needed)
Back to table in front of stage at 4Ps
Nanny O'Briens across the street (once thrown out of 4Ps)
It's a GREAT tour but the scenery doesn't change much.
