Good Morning!!!!!
Nov. 5th, 2008 06:47 amSo, how did you sleep?
I finally stopped having nighmares about Palin but once I crashed at 1ish I have no idea what I dreamed....
Anyone saving today's printed newspapers?
And last night I set up
01202009 for inauguration discussion and planning both in DC and around the world. Will start to build it out today but can anyone help re layout? Banner?

And why do I feel like I'm singing "We did it!" from Dora the Explorer over and over again? It's like Map told us to go through the icky sticky mud, then under the exploding boxes, and that's how we get to shiny, tasty, happy Candy Mountain! WE DID IT! ETA: Huh. Is this the first time that a First Lady has had a cousin who's a Rabbi?

Yep! And buying acid free tissue paper so that I can keep them. Would you like a copy of the Sydney Morning Herald and/or The Australian?
WE DID IT!
Yes, you all did do it, and the rest of us are bloody grateful too. :D

Date: 2008-11-05 12:24 pm (UTC)And I did end up sitting in front of a computer at school today for about 3 hours, an hour each time, and kept clicking on buttons on cnn.com since the computers only had flash 6 and therefore no pretty maps were being shown. But I did get to see the maps on fivethirtyeight.com!

Date: 2008-11-05 12:46 pm (UTC)I'm definitely saving the newspaper. I seldom buy them, but this is special.
My hubby and I always joke around about Dora the Explorer. It's such a cute show, and I really do like it, but we can't seem to resist joking about Boots, who annoys him.
:We tossed Boots into the volcano,
yeah, we did it. We did it. We did it, hooray!
Map told us to appease the gods today,
and sacrifice a monkey, so we said, Okay!
Yeah, we did it!:
*is going to the special hell, right?* LOL

Date: 2008-11-05 01:26 pm (UTC)A few friends of mine are seriously thinking of trying to get to DC for the inauguration; I can't even wrap my mind around that. Everytime I hear the words "President-elect Obama" I tear up. I am just in awe, and yes, the Dora song is perfect for how I'm feeling! :o)
