Heading to Disney at about 5:30 AM so this will be short so I can get some sleep...

Squee for plot! It was a good, good storyline (although the blood resulted in my averting my eyes a bit)
Hurrah for Sammy saving the day! With Necessary!Bobby, as they needed someone else to drive the car and while I think Cute Boy In The Sheriff's Office would have been happy to do Anything For Dean, Bobby was, plotwise, easier to slot in there!
OMG for that little flash of yellow in Sammy's eyes in the end!
Wheee for brothers working together!

Hat tip for incorporating Jim's real ability to speak Japanese into Bobby's characterization. Of course he speaks and reads Japanese. Now, when will he make sushi for Sam and Dean? Or did he make it circa 1987 for John? Inquiring minds, and all that.

SWOON for how pretty both boys looked throughout this episode. Jensen did an amazing job making Dean jittery-but-trying-to-be-brave and Jared? This is as close to an age-swap as we've seen and he was perfect making Sam trying to remain calm but terrified that he's going to fail in saving his brother a-fucking-gain. Lovely.

And did anyone else think perhaps that Sam was immune because of the Demon Blood, not because of anything dick-ish? Because I just don't see Dean as that dick-ish. He saves people! He hunts things! He rocks out to Eye of the Tiger!

And of course, OMGWTFBBQFLAIL for the leg guitar, as performed by Jensen Ackles in the Surprise!Eye-of-the-Tiger, which I have been denying myself for weeks since it first hit the web and now I am asquee that it was as adorable as anything.


Speaking of Jensen being adorable, can someone who is capable at iconing take a screenshot of Jensen with the head-lamp from the MBV trailer and caption it with the word "mine" for me?

I definitely expected Sam's immunity to come from his blood. And I expect to see fanfic showing that Dean feared the same thing, which triggered his hallucinations.

I have zero time for fic-writing these days, but there are at least nine plot bunnies I may end up drabbling after this episode. SO much amazing content!
