May I Return to the Begining?

Using an icon from the first ep of Heroes in thrilledomgyay expectation of the world getting to see 3.01 tonight, starting barely 90 minutes from now! It's been nearly two months since I saw it at comic con, and I can't wait to re-watch it tonight - and don't forget that it'll be followed by 3.02!!!!!!

I went to our Friendly Neighborhood Liquor Store and bought out their stock of test tube Alabama Slammers and Kamikazes in advance of EyeCon this weekend. So I now have 60 little tubes of booze - and two bottles of that pink X-Rated blood orange stuff that is so yummy. Hurrah for in-room refrigerators!

I'm also collecting cell phone numbers here if you're going to EyeCon, and there's still space available in the "full-cast photo op" that roguebitch and I are doing (I think on Sunday) if you want to join us. And if you have any ideas for something creative that we can do in our photo....

Currently, I'm uploading a 4.01-centric SPN vid to YouTube - hopefully it will finish uploading sometime tonight! It was almost done three hours ago, and then one of the kids unplugged my router. Oops. It's a new project I'm going to try and do this season for SPN - I want to do a vid for each episode set not to a song from the show, but to an appropriate song by Neil and/or Tim Finn. Ever since I got into SPN, I've been enamored of the way so many of their songs can fit to the SPN-verse and the Winchesters - it's probably because nobody writes about brotherhood and families and magic the way the Finns do. From the minute I saw the clip from 4.01 at Comic Con, I knew the song I wanted to use for this episode, and it was an absolute treat to edit.

No, the first one is set to come out Oct 1-ish, once registration is Officially Official and Live (we'd been waiting for the paypal-ability payment method to be live).

omg yay VODKA. too bad about bringing liquid on planes or i'd bring some good stuff from work... (did i mention i have 40 bottles of vodka in my kitchen?) but we'll have to swing by the liquor store again once i'm there to pick up some stuff. and again, we don't need no stinkin' mixers :D

EDIT: did you see my new tires cost the same as nearly one of those mega-photo-ops? my day sucks out LOUD.
Also: is there some sort of message board up in the con area to leave notes for people? i can't remember if there was last time...

no more warranty. but the new ones are now and i've had good experiences in the past with tire stores replacing/fixing tires for free and not giving any hassles. plus they'll balance and rotate them every 4000 miles for free which is good. makes them last longer apparently.

i am going to the cocktail party. but i'm sure i'll still need more to drink :D those test tube things rock!

i need to get some bacardi melon rum, it's my absolute fave and you really don't need mixers with it... ask sue. we had a bottle of it in LA... drank it all, mostly just the 2 of us.
