It's gorgeous.

And Tonner made an adorable Luna doll. Evanna must be thrilled by this!

They are just utter *wow*.

An excellent effort that did everything it needed to. I would say at this point, the ongoing media speculation about a rift says more about the media than it does about the Clintons.

But then, if you're watching the proceedings on anything other than C-SPAN, you're wasting your time...

Quoting [livejournal.com profile] indecision2008:
The roll call is underway over at the convention center.

SPOILER ALERT:

Obama's going to win.

Update (Dennis): Obama won.

And Hillary Clinton delivered the finishing blow to herself by motioning to suspend the rules and cast all votes for Barack Obama as the nominee.

Man, the Clintons are gonna be pissed.

After all the horseshit about "body language analysis" today, I would give at least a couple of toes for The Daily Show to bring in, say, an Analytical Phrenologist to interpret the speech based on the shape of Senator Clinton's head.

And ptui! to anyone who says her speech wasn't amazing. I think it was not only a great endorsement of Obama, but a much-needed attack on McCain's abysmal policies.

Pretty!

I do hope that the media will extend the same courtesy and examine the unity of the Republican party after McCain picks his VP.

And the likelihood of that is....

Hillary really did knock it out of the park; the remains (with horsehide torn off) were found on Waveland Avenue ;)

That Luna doll may be the best HP doll yet.

I was really, really pleased by Hillary's enthusiasm in endorsing Obama. The people who said that she would be bitter and unable to move on were just plain wrong.

As for whether the media will examine the Republican party's unity, I don't think there will be much to examine, since the Republicans didn't have an drawn-out, intense primary battle like the Democrats did.

If I may put in a plug here, I have set up a fundraising page on Bakak Obama's website, with a goal of raising $1000 for his campaign. I'd really like to maximize the number of people donating, even if I end up not raising a lot of money. So, if anyone here might be willing to donate to the Obama campaign, even if it's just $1, please take a look. It's at http://my.barackobama.com/page/outreach/view/main/JudyS Thanks!
