And also, very nice - he signed a bear for my friend laughingirl's Avon Breast Cancer fundraising project because I managed to get a space in the autograph line thanks to my husband, who lurked around the booth from 11:15 until they opened the line for the ninety seconds it took to fill said line.

But that's the end of my day at Comic Con and I have had a *day* so far and I want to write all of it up so let's jump back....

Had breakfast with bekkio, sue_tlc, Erin from House of Black and melissa_tlc - much fun and good conversation and no mimosas even though I could already have used one! I'd been up since 530 packing and helping Aaron load the car - he bought a lot of toys and art! - and getting things organized for handing out azkatraz postcards at the panel, etc.

After breakfast we went up stairs to head over to the convention center to meet with the wonderful Eric - our panel moderator - and I glanced out the front door because they'd moved this yummy strawberry water cooler out there and I was considering getting one - and guess who I saw?

If you've read my prior post, you'd know! I saw the Ghostfacers! Ed, Harry and Maggie -and they were all in character. I fangirled them a bit and they signed a bear from the Avon project and then I got a photo with them which is *adorable* - will upload tomorrow. They were fantastic!

After that I was shaking a bit because OMG GHOSTFACERS?!? I made a vid set to XANADU about them! (No I didn't tell them that!)

Then, we had our little panel-meeting moment and got organized and tried not to feel queasy - btu I was jittery about something else. My friend Jenna at Aced Magazine - who I'd already written a piece on DOctor Who & Torchwood for (and who will be getting my Underworld write-up soon) - had me fill in as her reporter at the Supernatural press interviews, so I got some five-reporters-one-show-person time with Kripke, Sera Gamble and the Ghostfacers (who weren't in character during the interview). More coming in my ACED write-up but I did want to post that Nicki Aycox will be back on SPN in S4, and they're trying to create a Ghostfacers spin-off in new media, whether that means mobile phone content or webisodes.

It was bloody brilliant.

Then, just as we finished with Sera, I had to go to my *own* panel, which was luckily right next door. This meant I didn't get to be in on the interviews with Jared or Jensen - but I did get to exchange a "hi" with Jensen as he was walking in and I was walking out.

I ran to my panel and I LOVED everyone there! The questions were fantastic, the costumes were amazing and the whole thing was filled with so much energy!

But then the 50 minute mark came and they kicked us out and because the SPN panel was right across the hall we weren't even allowed to loiter in the hall. So while I would've loved to stay and chat we couldn't :( so I managed to duck into the SPN panel just as the clip from S4 was ending. So I don't know anything about it and someone else will have to tell all of us.

The SPN panel was fantastic - Eric and Sera did most of the talking, and I would've loved the moderator to ask a FEW questions to the boys. She didn't and she really could have balanced it better.

Jared looked exahusted. Did he fly in this morning? He missed most if not all of the press chats this morning, so I wasn't sure if it was that, or if he just got in v v late last night.

They talked about the show's music, what to expect for S4 (Eric said "Pornography!" and we all cheered but I think he was kidding which is why I did not cut it, lalala.) and the decisions about killing characters and why it's a necessary plot device. I think I got it all on audio, so I'm going to try and clean it up and put it on YouTube tomorrow (although I am sure others managed to get full transcriptions).

I ducked out probably 10 minutes early, after the person asked about Bela making things funny and then her making the boys dead (no, not really) and ran downstairs because Aaron was in the autograph line and we had to trade places :) The security guard basically moved him into the line because they'd been chatting about comic books and the batman legos for a while before the line set up.

So yes, I got to meet Jensen in the autograph line and got to chat with Sera briefly again - she is fantastic and feels like SPN is impacting her own non-SPN writing because it's getting more fantasty and horror elements in it. She's gorgeous. Kripke is elfin.

Jensen's eyes are *really* that damned green. Zoiks.

Ok, leaving now and heading to Aaron's parents to arrange about > shipping art and toys home, and then it's back to LA and an overnight flight home.

SO wonderful to see so many people this weekend - I never found glockgal or royal_midnight but I got to spend time with so many fantastic people - fanboys and fangirls - and by Sunday - well, really, probably by Friday - the place just felt familiar and like a family and was made of awesome, fun and win.

Hopefully on the flight tonight I'll be able to write up more about the amazing Chuck panel, the way people kept talking about Heroes all weekend, how wonderful all the studio staffers I met were, the thrill of seeing Stan Lee in the hotel bar, she shock-horror of learning that Jon "Duckie" Cryer is losing his hair in a big way (Brendan Fraser is losing his hair in a more minor way, and John Hannah still has his adorable curls), James Franco is funny and nice, and Judd Aptow is smart and weirdly well organized. This has been the most bizarre, exciting, exhilerating, exhausting weekend of my life and I really want to do it again next year, after azkatraz.

Awesome!! Mine was the reason I went to the con held in Syd to see Jared. Don't know if you heard of the reports. he drove me to and fetched me back. each way was almost 2hrs!! We both are REAL lucky!! Ya can read my report on my LJ if you want! :)
