Two quick vidding things + one quick AZKATRAZ thing

1. It's the last few hours to bid on the vid I have up for offer in livelongmarry.

2. There was a vid posting early this morning - the trailer, vid and mosaic-art-thing I did for veronamay's amazing spn_j2_bigbang fic Better Elsewhere.

We've set up a comm at kickin_azkatraz for anyone who's interested in learning more about and/or attending azkatraz, since that comm is going to be for news-ish postings by the chairs and committee members. You can join kickin_azkatraz here - we have it set for modded posting, and will allow posts and comments on the comm that (a) eelates to the con (attending, programming, meet-ups, etc) and/or (b) has to do with San Francisco next July, or in general (restaurants, bars, tours, the nearest cheap parking garage, etc), as long as it doesn't meet LJ's "adult content" requirements. Since people from 13 on up are allowed to attend Azkatraz, we're going to keep the comm to "adult concepts".

It's not for general Harry Potter discussion, or the posting of fics, vids, art, graphics, etc that aren't also related to the con (although art and graphics and icons, etc., related to the con are very appreciated!

Over the next week, we'll put a bit of structure on the comm and make it a lot prettier, but we saw so much interest in having a place to just chatter about it already, so we wanted to meet that need asap.

We're also going to replicate the azkatraz and kickin_azkatraz comms over on Insane Journal and JournalFen sometime this week.

I just need to take a personal moment, though, and note that kickin_azkatraz is the 200th comm that I'm a member of. Some are completely defunct because they dealt with a specific event (like poa_nyc) and others are old-and-thriving (like hp_essays) but they're all a part of my LJ life, and it's neat to have this as the 200th among them.

The whole time you guys were are Portus and I was kicking myself for not going, I kept looking up Level Two. I was so confused that there was NOTHING posted for Levl Two since you would have been promoting it at Portus. I think I kinda understand now!

We were never completely set on the name, but we've been planning this "rebranding" for a while - and it just took some bizarre flash of lightening to choose a name that worked so perfectly!
