Flashback of the Week

heidiRemember when Casey Kasem used to do a flashback on American Top Forty every weekend?
I'm going to *try* to remember to start doing an HP Fandom Flashback every week, at least through the release of HBP in November, starting now.

mctabby in July, 2002, predated the release of Chamber of Secrets to movie theaters, but we'd already seen Christian Couslon as Tom Riddle in the trailers and interest in him, and in Dan's suddenly deeper voice, was heating up.
The quiz results also show an interesting mix of links to forum threads, Yahoogroups, and LJ comms that marked the transition of many HP fanfic writers among those three different modes of communications. And, of course, the quiz itself was on a GEOCITIES page. How many of you had one? And when was the last time you updated it? Or even looked back at it?
