"Gay love can pierce the veil of death and save the day!"

"Aren't those the #^@&$ from Texas?"

(I note that again, the gay character got killed, but love pierced the veil of death and saved the day so is that supposed to mitigate that? Perhaps.)

That?

Was awesomecakes.

It was adorable and funny and I love how Alec Dean Alec Dean (with Sam?) made the electromagnetic pulse. And Dean not talking about his fucking problems on some reality show. And the way they didn't actually solve the case, per se, but Corbett saved the day, which means, kindasorta, that Sam and Dean on their own might not have been able to solve the situation when they did (although they probably would've found and salted and burned the body at some point...).

Did Corbett pull a Mary Winchester and destroy the bad spirit that way?

I need to re-see it again asap, but SHOW is back and that is perfectly wonderful and magnificent and omg JOHN! Next week, JOHN?!?!?

And now, I am finally off to go visit the Ghostfacers website (which, luckily, wasn't wiped in the pulse!).

Don't spoil me for anything in the next ep other than what we saw in this end-of-ep preview, please.

My favorite thing about this ep? proof positive that Dean drops F-bombs like they're hot.

Yeah, I was curious about that, too. I remain unmitigated.

I didn't really love this ep, although I'm glad the existence of Dean's potty mouth is now confirmed.

And then of course I saw next week's preview and squeed.

Next week?

Will be made of guh. In a good way.

And yeah, I'm expecting the mitigation to be... Mixed.

Oh, I know! I was all like o_O and "Holy CRAP!"

O'course, it's easy to have an actor phone it in, yeah? *grins* No green-screen needed when you're EVP.

I laughed so hard at Sam wearing a party hat. I think that may take the cake for costumes that really don't fit the mood!

YAY JOHN NEXT WEEK! I don't want to be spoiled either, but... John!

John! Between the ep, and the comic book?

Shiny John Overload Time. Nao.

I have much love for John, so a John Overload is a good thing! :D

Also, I was trying to explain the birthday party scene from this episode to my father, who promptly informed me that it "sounds nearly identical to an episode of the Twilight Zone I saw when I was a kid." Huh.

I love your icon!

That was awesome. I'm so glad that I waited until my hubby got home so we could watch together. When I saw this picture: http://www.supernatural.tv/gallery2/promos/s3/ghostfacers/313_001.html
my first thought was "Two words: Oingo Boingo."

I am completely spoiler-free for the next 3 eps, except I know of one song that may possibly be in one of the eps (it isn't a spoiler to say there will be music in one of three SPN eps, is it?) and I was made of flail.

I am so so so lucky that I get to see next week's ep with other fangirls!

There aren't enough words in the dictionary to explain the awesomeness that was SHOW!!!

Guh!! John next week!!!! EEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!

For me the best line of the show was "Ed, you need to go over there and show some gay love to that dead intern!" OMfreakinG!!!!!

When the numerous icons come bursting out I'm hoping that someone will let me *borrow* since I'm crap still at making them myself.

I love this show more and more with every glorious episode.

SPN is one of several shows that (in the name of sanity) I usually don't watch as it's broadcast but wait until it's out on DVD.

This post is making me reconsider that position....

it's just his voice, though... I would love to be wrong, but I don't think jDM is actually going to appear.

Even in vox only - JDM is still going to bring us to tears. Oh, Dean.

This has nothing to do with your post (which I'm trying desperately not to read since I won't be able to see the ep until Sunday night!).

Are you in the Orlando area? I'm working as a temp for a doctor right now who's trying to find a "good" restaurant in Orlando. All he has right now is a restaurant guide from a physicians' meeting book.

No, I'm in Miami but I know Orlando restaurants.

Is he in for a conference? Does he want fancy, or super food? Or both?

Which resort is he near, or is he downtown?

Let me know and I'll give you a few recs.

I'll ask him and get back to you. Thanks!

Just because he's a high-level doctor who gives talks all over the planet, I'd almost guess fancy. But he also is a dad of a very young girl so I might be wrong.

He said fine dining, adult-styled, non-touristy. Something off the beaten track. He's partial to seafood, btw.

He saw the name of a place called "Fishbones" in Lake Mary and was curious about it and how far away it might be from Orlando proper.

I think he might be going to Disney.

Thanks for your help with this!

Sigh, all the restaurants I know in Orlando are touristy. But there's some excellent food a thte California Grill at the contemporary, and bluezoo at the DOlphin is extraordinary; Emiril's has two restaurants at Universal - his eponymous one at citywalk and I think the one at Royal Pacific is called Tchop Tchop?

I know of one in Celebration that's supposed to be good but I can't find the name of it right now. If none of hte above will do, though, I can hunt it down.
