Huh, I think I feel "WTF?!?!?!?" with a few polar bears thrown in for good measure.

She's punking us, isn't she?
In other news, am no longer feverish but oh am I weak. A week of being sick has left me hardly able to go up and down the stairs without taking a break, I am just drained. I've always bounced right back from being sick but this time? It's not that easy. I find myself watching Pretty In Pink at noon and wondering if there are any Boston Legal/2 1/2 Men crossovers with fight scenes. I assumed that meant I needed a nap, so I took one, then woke up and watched Music and Lyrics, which was adorable although not particularly thrilling, but one thing that I absolutely loved about it was how the Hugh character googles the Drew character and finds things she's written over the years and its one of the few vaguely accurate representations of the impact of google-ing that I've seen in a film or tv show. And of course, the songs were terrific, and made me want to see Hugh dance some more so I'm off to re-watch Love, Actually this evening. And then sleep some more.
How much longer until I start to feel good again?
bestweekever reports that Gary Sinese is doing a USO tour with his band, "The Lt. Dan Band", named after his character in Forrest Gump; they include some artists' representations of other bands named after recent film characters here.
ANN COULTER: "She's more conservative than he is. I think she'd be stronger on the war on terrorism. I absolutely believe that.... I will campaign for her if it's McCain... She lies less than John McCain, she's smarter than John McCain."
ALAN COLMES: "Let me get this straight, would you vote for Hillary Clinton?"
COULTER: "Yeah."
COLMES: "You would actually go into a voting booth..."
COULTER: "If it's close and the candidate is John McCain, because John McCain is not only bad for Republicanism, which he definitely is, he is bad for the country, very very bad for the country."

Date: 2008-02-01 10:09 pm (UTC)As for the GOOGLE referance in Music&Lyrics, yeah I caught that too, and thought it was SO COOL! Though, I never saw the beginning of the movie so it's on my 'must see from the beginng' list! But, I did love what I did see! It was fun!
Sorry you're feeling sick Heidi. At least it's the weekend, (is that a good thing or a bad thing for you?). My old Italian father would tell you to have a nice glass of red wine to build back your strength!
*pours you a glass* I hope it works! :)

Date: 2008-02-01 11:16 pm (UTC)In fact a lot of the Republicans that are not so much "Republican" but hateful-small-minded-war-mongering-imperialistic-scumbags hate McCain.
These makes me feel a lot better about him, to be honest, and a lot my sure my asssesment of Hillary is right. GOD I hope Obama takes the dem. ticket.
You know what else is crazy this election?
The strong Dark Horse (as in not a lead contender) college campus favorite is Ron Paul.
Whose Republican.

Date: 2008-02-02 02:23 am (UTC)God how depressing is it that part of me is going, ok, so he's a bigot, but that's better than everyone except Obama.
What a said state of things -_-
At this point though, for me, for all canidates, it comes down to this question "How did they vote?"
That's how I worked the congressional elections. I got so sick of all the blabbering and then I realized HEY! their votes are public. So I just went up there and found their voting records and spent a week reading really boring but informative stuff.
Which worked so well, that's what I plan to do for this elections. Who ever's voting records offends me the least will get my vote.
.. ehh I guess I also factor in
"who is likely to be in the cabinet if elected"
"How many and which interest groups own them"
Also important things to me when considering presidential canidates.
