This has never happened to me before...

I'm working on this series of vids, and I'm in the middle of the fourth one right now. Been working on it off and on for a few days, but managed to have about 90 minutes straight through to focus on it this evening and made two absolutely fantastic editing decisions and...

Something glitched. Somehow, all the vid-content deleted itself - I don't even know how it all got selected! - and all I had left was eight seconds of a clip that I was planning on cutting back to three anyway - and it auto-saved. And locked.

Luckily! LUCKILY, I had rendered the first minute-fifty of it (although I was planning to replace about 20 seconds of placeholder-vid) so I do have over half of the vid, and all my clips were saved so I have to just put them back in and trim them down, so I probably only lost about an hour's real work but?

Grrr.

I'm taking a break from it for the night and heading off to re-watch my vid for Dean's birthday a few more times; the jensen-prettiness will cheer me up.

seimaisin, call me when you're up if it's breakfast-time or even lunch-time? I might need a mimosa at breakfast if this takes longer to fix than I expect.

That's what happened to me when I was working on the Potterpuffs fanvid. I was so pissed, and had to do most of it over again, because without certain clips, the timing was thrown off.
