It's Friday! Something must be terrific, interesting, inspirational, fascinating or otherwise nifty for you right now. And there's probably something that's on the "less than" side, too.

Stupid people, get out of my state. I don't actually care if people choose to believe in creationism or intelligent design, but they should at least understand that the Big Bang theory deals with the creation of the universe, and evolution is a completely different concept.

The watchdogs at Florida Citizens for Science find that Taylor County[, Florida] has passed a resolution:[W]e are requesting that the State Board of Education direct the Florida Department of Education to revise/edit the new Sunshine State Standards for Science so that evolution is presented as one of several theories as to how the universe was formed.
