jksdgljsdl! fjskdlfjskljd!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have not ONE quibble with this episode of Show. Not one quibble at fucking all. Every scene, every character, every actor, every single line of dialogue and every look and my GOD every single damned fucking TOUCH was perfect and just... Just right.

And not for a second do I believe that Nathan is permanently dead. He is with Peter Who Has Superblood, And Who Knows He Can Save The Man He Loves, Thanks To Adam. And who can also go back in time! And make Nathan put on a bulletproof vest! [/Back to the Future] (Query: putting on said vest would involve making Nathan take his shirt off, right?)

Btw, am I the only one who wondered if John Winchester and Angela Petrelli had a little pen-pal thing going on over the years about Potential Need To Kill Offspring? Makes me want to return to my preseries Peter+Sam fic. Which is actually a Winter Break/New Years fic, so it might....

So, back to Adam, and yes while he is currently six feet under but you know somehow he will get out. Somehow. And will be even crazier than ever. Alas.

Hiro and Ando are together again which is just FTW. Also, I want to know what else is in that Vault. I'm sure there will be screenshots tomorrow so analysis can begin then!

I cried a bit for Niki - she really is most sincerely dead, isn't she? Even the Super Blood couldn't save her if she's been blown to smithereens? Poor Micah - oh, Micah. Sigh. And major guilt for the future for both Micah and Monica, I think.

Loved the Dysfunctional Bennetts scenes, and did anyone else wonder if West was somehow in the Employ of the Company Or Otherwise Under Their Influence when he came to try to stop Claire?

The "love" triangle of Sylar/Maya/Suresh was so well-done and when Sylar did that little stripping thing and bared his skin so Mohinder could stick it to him....

Did I just type that? Huh, I guess I did. It was so obvious that [livejournal.com profile] ginsu IMed me about it, and for him to notice the slash, it means it's no longer subtextual. Or he's listened to me yammer about Mylar too much over the last year.

Still hating Bob. Liking Elle's conscience, which she is clearly growing in a petri dish - it's interesting to watch that happen - she's still really trying for her daddy's approval and love, but she's starting to see that there might be more out there.

I definitely think Niki is done for. Can't say I have a particularly strong reaction to that. Honestly at the beginning of the season when they introduced Monica I thought Niki might not be long for this world. Also I just don't think the show would kill Nathan. I think it's just a cliffhanger until the season starts up again.
I really wanted to put Angela down as evil, but there is something about her that makes her more complex. I can't seem to figure her out.
Oh writers strike. When will it end!?

Nathan is so definitely not dead. Nope, not at all.

Well, not permanently.

And...

OMG, I just realised.

If the Healing Powers of Claire's Blood are permanent then he doesn't need an Infusion from anyone at all anyway!

Of course, if it isn't, he does need an Infusion of Peter
's Blood. But as we saw with Noah, they can take some time with that - Noah was dead for a whole cross-country flight.

I must be the only person who doesn't think that the blood is a permanent fix.

Where would the fun be in that?

btw, I'm already of the opinion that Noah killed Nathan.

Me too, on both counts. Plus that would mean that Claire's "Dad" killed her real father. Screwed up, man.

I think it's a cheat for the blood to be a perma-fix, too. Partly because that would mean Sylar could become un-killable without killing Peter or Claire.

As for Noah being the assassin, it's quite possible. And screwed up. And would leave Claire all angsty and confused, even if Nathan does come back somehow.

This may be the episode I can never watch again.

I am so damned claustrophobic that even looking at that moment with Adam in the grave almost turned my stomach. I need to find *something* to watch now to get that split-second sight out of my mind or I may never get to sleep tonight.

Our sweet little Hiro has... um.... changed.

:-(

Oh god, Nathan is NOT DEAD. I will not allow it, I kept yelling "INJECT HIM WITH YOUR BLOOD PETER!" at the screen because that's whats gonna happen. *denial*

Btw, am I the only one who wondered if John Winchester and Angela Petrelli had a little pen-pal thing going on over the years about Potential Need To Kill Offspring?

lmao, I think so.

I don't like Niki, therefore her death means nothing to me, haha. But Nathan, I love Nathan and he can not die.

Nathan. Is. Not. Permanently. Dead.

Period.

Totally agree on the Nathan thing. NBC promo people have NO IDEA who is permanently dying, they have no future episode coming up to base that on. And you're right-- there is no way in HELL that Peter will let his brother die. (Does that mean we've forgotten about Caitlyn? YES PLZ.)

Holy crap do I need to rewatch this episode soon. So much goodness. Especially need to see the fabulous Mylar scenes. Or hell, even the Sylar scene at the end. Spinach can FTW!

I'm one of the few people who liked Niki, so I'm sad about her death. And it seems to me that the show is a lot more willing to kill their female heroes even though it's already lopsided. So you're probably right that Nathan will be back somehow, either through Peter or Angela's machinations. Or Claire's, if she knows, which she probably does since it happened on Nationwide TV. I'm curious as to who actually shot him, though. I'd say Bob, but he seems like the type who wouldn't want his hands directly dirtied. It's interesting that Noah talked Claire out of exposing them and then her Bio!Dad tried to do it anyway.

I almost hope West is involved with the company somehow just because I don't like him. Especially not with Claire. But I'd also be happy if we just didn't see him anymore, though I know that's unlikely.

I loved the way Peter destroyed the virus. I'm also looking forward to more of the vault's revelations to come.

Adam is so coming back eventually.

I like Elle more now that she's questioning Bob a bit. I'm glad Maya finally got a clue, albeit a bit late for her brother's sake.

And clearly, "Gabriel" is going to be one of the titular villains of the next chapter.

I am sad about Niki, but I'm not sure what their plan is at this point -maybe Jessica is still alive? And out there? And they'll bring her on as a character, not an Alter Personality? Maybe?

That's an interesting idea. We don't know how Jess died in the first place, so... It could happen. I really feel for Micah, though. I love that kid and now he's going to feel guilty for getting his mum killed. Maybe Mohinder and Matt will take him in? More likely he'll stay with his great aunt and cousins. I like Monica and Nana (whom I fully expect to have powers revealed eventually). Damon not so much, but he makes an interesting foil for Micah.

If Jessica is still alive and out there, would she be a hero or a villain?

I do believe in Nathan, I do! I do!

That wasn't as bad as I was afraid it was going to be. I thought of about 12 ways for Peter to save Nathan in about a minutes, and happily a lot of them involve Peter turning all evil and hot.
