New Potter Puppet Pals Vid! My kids are watching them so so often this week. There's nothing more amusing than a four year old walking around saying "Snape! Snape! Severus Snape!" and a two year old occasionally interjecting with "Dumbledore!"

I love the beach, and the sun, and wearing flip-flops year round, and the wonderful shopping, and beautiful Spanish style houses, and the way the ocean looks on cloudy days, and driving down US1, and palm trees, and the way that everywhere else in the country is sort of a vague "up there".

And I love that I will be home there in one week, four days, and twelve hours. Not that I'm counting or anything :))

I would love to see you at Xmas! I will be in WPB from December 15th thru January 8th. We got rid of my car when I left for college, so my access to transportation will sort of depend on what days my parents don't need their cars, though I could conceivably take the TriRail... but we should definitely plan something! ♥

My cousin would be happy to play Dumbledore naked, but that's beside the point. They really get into it, too - the kid playing Harry flails around like a crazy person. At one point they did the whole thing popping their heads up and down from behind a couch, which I really should have videotaped. (The best part is, they're still adorable, but they're all teenagers.)

I love how Neville realy grows up in the series - and especially how amazing he is at fighting evil on a daily basis in book 7, and then in destroying that which killed his longtime nemesis - the poetry and symatry of that has amazed me since I read it.

Are there any fcis where Neville learns that Nagini killed snape?

I love that about Neville, too. I love that he's the boy who could have been, even though Jo doesn't think that's special. I hadn't considered the fact that Neville killed Nagini and she had killed Snape. That is kind of cool, actually. Whether you take the transitive property or consider that he's avenging Snape even though Snape was always so mean to him.

I Don't know about fics regarding that. I bet coffee_n_cocoa would know. She's my authority for all things Neville fic.

I love Neil Gaimain - and I've loved him ever since I used Mostly Harmless (the bio he did in the 80s of Douglas Adams) for a school research paper when I was in high school! And I love his leather jacket collection!

I love how Christmas gives you the permission you need to be a dork and love everybody and believe in Santa and be childlishly selfish and the toys and WTF? trees in houses and how everyone can walk around humming baby its cold outside hours on end and not get annoyed. I just love Christmas.

I LOVE my husband and Christmas. I love Christmas because it's the one time of year I seem normal. I'm fairly pathological about having to help when I problem or a need, and Christmas is the universal time of charity and good will, so I get to go a little nuts. I love fulfilling wishes for children in need (from the Angel Trees), I love plonking money into Salvation Army buckets and smiling at bell ringers. I love being a Secret Santa. I love passing out little happies to my coworkers - especially the ones who think I don't even know their names. I love wishing strangers a warm merry Christmas. I love finding unique gifts for my family and friends that make their eyes light up or make them laugh. I love decorating, cooking, wrapping and all of it.

Where does my husband come into it? He just *lets me go*. My husband doesn't care what I want to do at Christmas. If it makes me happy, it makes him happy. I want to do ten angel tree kids? Fine by him. Do I pick an enormous tree for our tiny townhouse? He'll make it fit for me. He happily slathers on the lights and then spends another hour adjusting them until I'm happy. Am I up until 2AM baking mini-loaves of banana bread? He's right there with me. Do I want to go shopping in Jackson on New Year's Eve because I need that *one* last perfect thing to complete my gifting? He's up for it. I LOVE that he 'gets' my Christmas Crazies and supports me 1000%. And he does the same all year round.
