Warning - spoilers on the preview for next week's epi behind the cut.

It's weird, that for a pretty Petrelli-free episode, I was fully and totally engaged and into it and only wondered a little what Elle would do if she got to keep her very own Mohinder and Peter toys and didn't actually mind West at all.

More than that, to quote my liveblog of last week's Supernatural...

I cried. Don't deny it - you got a little misty too!

I teared up at the scenes with Hiro and his father, and Little Hiro, and even Hiro's discovery that Kensei is the man who murdered his father and what that discovery will lead him to...

And I flat out cried when Mohinder - oh, Mohinder! shot HRG - but I am going to fanwank that for now that Mohinder knew that they had Claire's blood and they'd be able to bring him back from the dead and that's why he shot him - because it was the safest resolution to the stalemate, despite the potential for total horror and, of course, Trauma to the Teens. Because otherwise I can't imagine the horror-angst that Mohinder is feeling right now, but I am sure that there will be wonderful fic covering all the possibilities in the next few days!

[Poll #1091687]

I love HRG's ruthlessless, and it's only matched by Angela's fierceness in protecting those she cares about - well, it perhaps surpasses it a smidge. I worry what will happen to Matt nwo he's crossing these lines and now that Mohinder's stalker boyfriend dad's killer is back too, I worry for their relationship - how much stress can it take? Especially when Mohinder learns that Matt's been manipulating Molly's brain. Meep.

I love the daddy-issues in this show. Love, love, love - there are so many, and every single character's daddy-issue is different and traumatizing in its own way, wheee. I will try and be thinkier about it tomorrow if I have the time, but I am sure that all of you will be much more erudite than I can be this late at night...

ETA: Oh, how permanent is the Infusion of Healing Blood? I know there's been a lot of discussion and wonderful ficcage theorizing that nathan is now immortal because he has Adam's blood infusion - is Noah immortal now too?

And I forgot to note that I loved the visual parallel with Mohinder and Noah in the car, to the first time they met in Mohinder's cab. Lovely work, directors!

Misty eyed but mostly I was yelling at the TV - after Noah was shot and cursing Mohinder at that point in time... and then after we saw who the blood transfusion was being used for. I haven't really reacted that way to a TV episode in ages - it was fun!

Last season is was all about the mommy issues!

And there's NOTHING Mohinder can do to redeem himself for shooting Noah. None.

The closest I came to crying was over Kaito, but I didn't.

The Japanese dialogue is good again.

Mostly I swore. A lot. At Elle constantly, occasionally at Claire and often at Mohinder.

At the very end, I shouted out "WHAA!" and piqued the interest of my husband, who was watching wrestling. He pretty much figured that it was going to be an incredible episode based on that. (he records eps to watch later)

The scenes with Kaito and Hiro were beautifully done. The whole episode had a beauty to it, from camera angles to expressions on the actors' faces.

Next week will kill me.

Heh...given that Mohinder has shown himself to be very astute in the past, your idea of him purposely shooting Noah, knowing he could revive him, has merit. I couldn't believe it when Mohinder did it..I was positive that Mohinder might threaten, but someone else would pull the trigger.

The way Angela described Kensei's abilities, though, was that he's only immortal now because he regenerated a certain number of times. So it sounds like there's some point you have to reach with your regeneration, and I highly doubt Nathan and HRG's one time each qualifies them for eternal life. Claire, on the other hand, has regenerated herself multiple times, so she may very well be at the point where she won't age anymore. Or at least that's what I got from Angela's talk with Matt.

With Noah being that popular a character and so integral to the plot, I was pretty sure almost immediately that they would try to heal him with Claire's blood.

The thing I want to know is this: doesn't an IV drip depend upon blood flowing in order to deliver whatever is dripping into the body? And if that is true, how did they get the "healing" blood from the IV to flow through Noah's body?

Angela's fierceness in protecting those she cares about

I was totally impressed by her in this episode. Resisting the mind-fuck to protect someone.

I'm a bit annoyed we still haven't gotten official statements on what Kaito and Angela's powers are though. This was the perfect chance (last chance?) to tell us Kaito's ability.

I wonder if Claire is going to hunt down Mohinder now. She and West can join up with Peter and Adam in a "Take Down the Company" campaign.
