I am so unspoiled re Supernatural that I hadn't even heard we had to wait until mid-December for the next episode.

I've seen people pondering why Sam and Dean didn't try to bring Harmony Lucy to Lenore, and while I think it might've been good for continuity purposes for them to discuss and dismiss it, I think the would have had to dismiss it - what Lenore and her cohorts were doing wasn't something every vampire could do - she even said so - because they're suppressing something that is as natural to them as breathing is to us. I don't think someone who is verging on, if not full-on, junkie would be seen by the boys as able to accomplish that, and like Madison, they would've felt that putting her into that situation would have been risking people's lives, and that is something they just don't do.

They do, however, angst really prettily!

Also: Dear WB
You own a record label. In fact, I think you own a few. Please, please give SPN some songs back. It can't cost very much given that you own the label. And while the shows are shiny without multiple classic rock songs, the songs remain the same do add something to the show and Are Missed By Many.

According to IMDB the next new SPN episode, "A Very Supernatural Christmas", isn't coming on until December. It doesn't have a set date as to when it will air but unfortunately it won't be til December. My guess would be Dec.13th since that's when the next new Smallville epi is set to air and they tend to keep these two shows on almost the same schedule. WTF am I suppsed to do until then??? But I am crossing every body part that the WGA strike will come to an end in the meantime and we will have a full season. GRRRRRRRRRRR to all of it!!!!!

I agree that bringing Lucy to Lenore would not have fit into the episode, and Sam and Dean wouldn't have done it, but I needed them to raise the option, even with a "What about Lenore?" and "We don't know where she is" or "it would never work," or even, "she's a junkie." The lack of any textual mention of her struck me as sloppy writing, like they'd forgotten she exists at all.

I think Sam and Dean knew that girl was too far gone. She couldn't even accept what she became.
