NaBloPoMo Post of the Day

First, via
linaerys,a behind the scenes shot from last night's Heroes (Warning: SPOILER!).
Just look at them, defying gravity!
As the episode's director, Greg Beeman said, it's all about the abs!" (and there are spoilers for last night at that link, but amazing storyboards and photos, too! And wouldn't it be a good idea if Heroes can get Michael Rosenbaum next year when he's done with Smallville?)
And, um, is anyone able to make an icon for me from this image because, well, I like icons of people texting.

Third,
enelya_oronar did a wonderful image-heavy picspam of our Site Visit to Universal Studios Orlando this past weekend - check it out to see how much fun we had with the people from Universal and especially the Orlando HP Meet-Up Group and others who came in for it.
I am, as you probably know, an amusement park fangirl. I have loved Disney for years and will go there as often as possible, but...
This was my first time at Universal without my kids - and I've only been there once before at all - so this was my first chance to enjoy the rides and the place and the experience without restriction, and it was amazing. The way they've engineered rides like Spider-Man and The Mummy is brilliant, and the love that all the people we spoke with have for the Harry Potter series just convince me that this is going to be an amazing place. And if you get to participate in what we have planned for Infinitus 2010, you're going to have an amazing time!
But first, there's thing number four - Portus in Dallas this summer! We're still taking submissions of programming proposals, and later this week, I'll have the official announcement about a new way creative fandomers can make their crafts, zines, CDs and art available to interested attendees...

when you donate an XO laptop to a child in the developing world, you'll receive one for the child in your life. The price for the two laptops will be $399, $200 of which is tax-deductible. Additionally, T-Mobile is offering donors one year of complimentary access to T-Mobile HotSpot locations throughout the United States, which can be used from any Wi-Fi-capable device, including the XO laptop.
Please visit www.laptopgiving.org to participate in Give One Get One and discover more about the revolutionary XO laptop. You can also donate by calling toll-free 1-877-70-LAPTOP (1-877-705-2786). This is the only time we're making the XO laptop available to the public and quantities are limited.
